Coby was actually singing at Danielle and Matt’s wedding as she is friends with the couple.
Road to Christmas - at Casey City Church

I would like to especially thank those involved in making the Road to Christmas event a success! So many people put in so much work. It was an amazing night.
And thanks to all of you that attended our Grand Opening event. We hope you felt extremely welcome and hope you enjoyed the night.

People started to fill the MPC auditorium. What a blessing to be able to partner with Hillcrest Christian College and utalise this magnificent venue!

Justin Michael (Compliments of Gus) took to the stage to begin the night.
The children were loving it!
We had a number of carols and items to start with, but I think one of the highlights for many was “Oh Happy Day” with Asahel Halstead and Chris Sebastian leading. We really had “church”
We came to the part of the night where the Angels entered… Thus began our Road to Christmas production.
I won’t tell the entire story of the production, except to say - Dorothy and Toto were out to find the true meaning of Christmas. I’ll let some of the pictures tell the story. (more at the gallery)
At the conclusion of the musical, it was only fitting that the Angels introduce Guy Sebastian (Angels brought him here - yes I know bad joke… Well there were a few of those during the night!)
Guy decided to get some exercise because he had been sitting for so long and his tight jeans were cutting off the circulation to his feet. So he had the kids chase him around the auditorium for a few dollars in his pocket!
After this little stint around the MPC, Guy proceeded to sing “Jesus, What a Wonderful Child”
Guy then invited brother Chris up to join him for a favourite, “Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas”
Guy really encouraged the crowd to get into that last note of “Silent Night”
Larry Sebastian ended the wonderful night with a timely message, and the Casey City Church Band finished with The Hallelujah Chorus, Angels we have Heard on High and We Wish you a Merry Christmas.
Sally Squad
We were so blessed to have Natalie Miller and the Sally Squad with us at Casey City Church on Sunday. What a fantastically gifted person - I don’t know how she does it, the puppets are so real! It is also wonderful to be in our new venue - the MPC at Hillcrest Christian College.

Matt Corby Concert
Matt Corby (Australian Idol) performed on Saturday night in Blackburn. It was great to see our friends, Best Before up there with Matt during the night.
Tribute to an artist
An Australian Idol Journey
He made it to the Top 100, 2 years ago. Since then he’s toured internationally with Fido, recorded and filmed a Video Clip (soon to be released). He’s lead the Youth Alive band, and been warm up for many leading international Christian music artists. He’s formed another band, writing and performing his originals.
This year he made it through to the Top 100 once again. This week he headed up to Sydney and went through the stressful process of culling, culling, culling. He made it through the first round - pushing him into the top 50 yesterday. Today he went through another grueling audition. For reasons beyond our knowledge, he was sent home.
Though he didn’t make it through to the Top 12, Daniel Kelaart is a star that doesn’t need a television show to prove it. We look forward to seeing what God has in store for this gifted musician.

Daniel Kelaart - Artist Shoot
We shot a set of promo images for singing artist Daniel Kelaart today. After a crazy morning with car batteries dieing, and RACV men coming out and swapping cars with my husband, we were good to go. While waiting for the RACV we decided to make the most of our predicament on Springvale road by shooting a few shots down the side alley.
Once we got the car issues sorted we headed over to the docklands. We set up the studio flashes outdoors to create some dramatic side lighting.
After spending some time at the Docklands we went to the “Red Scooter” in Balaclava for some indoor “funky retro” shots.
Daniel Kelaart has an amazing voice, and I know you are going to see more of him in the near future. Keep your eyes out for this rising star.
Fido Video Clip - On Set
We went on set yesterday to shoot stills for Fido’s new video clip. Fido will soon be releasing this clip along with a new single and full album.

It was the final night of Impact last night. I got some great shots of Daniel Kelaart as he performed “Taller, Stronger, Better” (by Guy Sebastian). The power in Daniel’s voice came through in the photos.

Fido Promo Shoot
Spent some time with Fido on Monday night - shooting promo images for their upcoming album release.
We had some fun. The police pulled over to question us at one stage, I think the large flash device going off on main street had them a bit spooked. But it was all fine when they realised we where just photographing the band.
Fido always know how to pose. It’s a lot of fun photographing them.
Carols by Twilight
